2-5-08; BRINGIN' IT BACK Like it's hot! So we had a bit of a slow period, but let's not let that get us down. I'm going through and weeding out members that haven't logged in for two weeks, and sending out an ACTIVITY CHECK warning for current members. We'll be going on a badly needed promotional spree, so anyone adept at banner and button making, feel free to post a few up in Graphics. Otherwise, got friends? RULES

We try to keep the rules simple enough here at EC - but more will be added if/when they become needed. Yes - we're making it up as we go.

1. CONTENT
a. Rating., Ending City is a MATURE roleplay game, and as such is rated

We're not going to enforce an age restriction, but all members should be warned that just about anything goes here. Swearing, violence, sexuality, fictional drug-use, and death are all parts of this game; and although these things may not be happening around every corner, they're likely to show up now and then. You or your character may not necessarily take part in these aspects, but others might. If you find any of these things offensive, then we're probably not the right RPG for you.

2. CONDUCT
a. In Character., We're not going to take responsibility nor interfere with how characters conduct themselves in game; just short of godmoding*,raping, or killing another character (without discussing it first), EC staff WILL NOT intervene with what happens in the game. If you have a problem with how another character is treating yours, then leave the thread.

b. Out of Character., This should be obvious. No matter how much of an asshole your character may be to others, members of this board will treat other members with respect outside of the RPG itself. If you have a problem with another member, take it up with them over PM or some other outlet. OOC insults, threats, or fights are not tolerated here.

*godmoding: Taking control of another character in your own post without permission. You know what it is - don't do it.

3. POSTS
a. Format., EC is an advanced RPG, and as such in Character posts should follow a general rule. Past tense, paragraph "novel format." Preferably, dialogue should be contained in quotes, however other methods are acceptable, so long as the dialogue is easily differentiated from the action (ie.: bolded, seperate color). CHECK YOUR SPELLING - there's even a Spell Check provided for you, so bad spelling shouldn't be an issue here. We're looking for proper grammar, too.

b. Length., Simple enough. A minimum of TWO (2) PARAGRAPHS is required per post (the "Quick RPG" board is exempt from this rule).
