BECOME AN ENDING CITIZEN

Joining EC is simple enough. Be sure you've read all the general information in the guidebook. After you've done that, follow the steps below.

1. Register an account on the board. Your username should be either your character's first name, last name, both, or a nickname.

2. Create a new post on the Roster board and enter your character's name as the subject.

3. Copy the form below and fill it out to the best of your extent. The more detail and depth you show us in your profile, the better. We're not asking for any sample posts, so we expect a decent effort to be put into your application. Watch for punctuation and spelling errors.

4. Post it, and wait. Your application will be approved or rejected (in the meantime, feel free to mingle with other members in the OOC boards).

Once your application is approved, you're free to jump right in and start role playing.

If rejected, a reason will be provided and the profile will be kept on-hand for a short time. You will have one week to modify your profile; after which you can ask the admin who originally reviewed it to re-evaluate your application.

Race: Your character's race.
Class: Your character's class.
Residence: Which District your character lives in. There are several established apartment complexes throughout Ending, but not all citizens choose to live in them.

P H Y S I C A L & M E N T A L
Appearance: Minimum 1 paragraph (the more, the better). Describe your character's appearance. The easiest way to answer this field is to split up your description by: Head/Face (the shoulders and up), Torso/Body (shoulders and down), Clothing (your character's general attire), and Tattoos/Scars/Accessories (everything else). However, feel free to go about your description as you please.

Mentality: Minimum 1 paragraph (the more, the better). Describe your character's personality; try giving us at least three main behavioral traits to sum up your character's attitude. However, feel free to go about your description as you please.

S E N T E N C E
Status: Your character, generally, is either a Convict, meaning they committed their accused crime; a Guard, meaning they patrol the inhabitants of Ending City; or an Innocent, meaning they were wrongly accused. This is basically your chance to give a BRIEF explanation as to how your character ended up on Eden, and why they're in Ending City.

There are two different arsenal categories: Magic and Weapons. Any character has ONLY THREE (3!) arsenal slots. How you choose to fill those slots is up to you. It is not required to fill any or all of them.

ex:

3 magical abilities and no weapons,
3 weapons and no magical abilities,
2 magical abilities and 1 weapon,
2 weapons and 1 magical ability

Magic: Give a quick description of each magical ability. There are no boundaries on types of magic, but elemental and healing magics are by far the most common. No "god-like" or "all-powerful" magics. If you're unsure if a certain magical ability is gonna fly or not, run it by an admin first to get an okay.

Weapons: All guns and blades are confiscated upon entering Ending; that isn't to say that there are no weapons to be found within the city. If one were to talk to the right people in the Grand Market, some authentic weapons can be acquired - for a price. Otherwise, weapons tend to be more handmade than professional grade. Smuggling weapons into Ending City is a high offense, and getting caught in possession of one can result in additional years on one's sentence.

History: (optional), A summary of your character's life up until this point. Be as detailed as you like; this is simply for character development as well as the benefit of other members, but is not required for the application.
Family: (optional), A list of your character's family or close relatives. Be as detailed as you like; this is simply for character development as well as the benefit of other members, but is not required for the application.
Pets: (optional), Normal pets, please. No fantastical mega creatures.
Likes: (optional), Self-explanatory.
Dislikes: (optional), Self-explanatory.

Additional Information: (optional), Any other information about your character or even yourself that you'd like to share with us. If you have pictures of your character, you can link to them (please don't post the image) here to give us a better idea of appearance.
